Nos tawata den fakkel cu Majestic Carnaval group cu Search y aunque e musica twt poco swak na comienso ela drecha na caminda.
E gang di pariba lo ta bayendo cu mesun grupo den e otro paradanan tambe.

Blog ignored for a while

Now I see the last post of May 2007, and that's a long time ago. Lots of stuff happened in the meanwhile .
After the last post of the Dutch Caribbean Championship we had our National Championships and after that I went to Rio de Janeiro for the Panamerican Games 2007. I was selected to work as a technical official and worked as a Turn Judge, a Chief Inspector of Turns and as Stroke Judge.
It was a great experience and also made some good contacts in the swimming world.

This weekend was a long weekend with the Dutch Caribbean Swimming Championships which took place in Aruba this year.

Rennaissance Island

Last Sunday we spent the day at the Rennaissance Island, it was very relaxing and nice.

Almost there

When it's the day to make the traditional xmas food items you know it almost christmas and almost the yearend.
This year it was on Sunday afternoon when we gathered to start actually making the ayaca. Some pictures of the activity.

The end...

Just the end of another month, not really the end.
With only 30 days remaining of the year, it will go faster, and faster, and faster every day.
There is still a lot to do at work and at home, but life is not only work but also to enjoy some of life's pleasures.

Relaxing by a pool could be one of those pleasures. Life is hard on Aruba.

Getting ready to go to Santo Domingo

This year I got invited to Referee a swimming event of Naco in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.
This will take place next week November 23 to 26.
That's four days of swimming competition.
